Why Ubin Day?
Ubin Day aims to celebrate our unique island that is loved by many from all walks of life. From the flora and fauna to the temples and scenery, we all can appreciate Ubin for it's special rustic charm. Where else can you find so many habitats that are home to many living creatures or kampong housing? On this day, we hope to share this beautiful island filled with life and heritage with everyone!

Ubin Day was first held in April 2002 organised by Grant Pereira with the Singapore Environment Council. There was a second Ubin Day in 2003 but none since then. This is the first time in more than a decade that we are trying to do another Ubin Day! More about the first Ubin Day in Elements http://tinyurl.com/firstubinday

It's our nature and our heritage

Did you know?

Pulau Ubin's original Malay name, Pulau Batu Jubin means "Island of Granite Stones".

Join us on "Granite Island" on the 30th of November!

I've never been

to Pulau Ubin. Is it nice?

Where can I bring my family and friends without spending too much?

Singapore has no

nature!
